Call for Nominations: 2025 AMA Tech SIG Lazaridis Best Paper Award
The Innovation, Technology, and Interactivity Special Interest Group (Tech SIG) of the American Marketing Association and the Lazaridis Institute invite nominations for the 2025 AMA Tech SIG Lazaridis Best Paper Award. This award recognizes an outstanding paper published in the last two years that has significantly advanced the understanding of innovation, technology, and interactivity in marketing.
Eligibility:
Papers eligible for this award must have been published in print between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2023, in a peer-reviewed academic journal. The nominated work should exemplify rigorous research, originality, and relevance to the fields of marketing and technology.
Award Evaluation Criteria:
The selection committee, comprised of esteemed scholars and a representative from the Lazaridis institute, will assess nominations based on:

The originality and significance of the research.

The methodological rigor and quality of the analysis.

The impact and contributions of the findings to the marketing discipline, particularly in the areas of innovation, technology, and interactivity.
Submission Requirements:

A nomination letter (maximum two double-spaced pages) summarizing the paper's contributions and significance to the fields of innovation, technology, and interactivity (self-nominations are welcome).

A PDF copy of the nominated paper.

Mention “AMA Tech SIG Lazaridis Best Paper Award Nomination” in the email subject line.

One of the authors of the paper nominated for the Best Paper Award must be a member of both the American Marketing Association (AMA) and Tech SIG at the time of the nomination. Tech SIG membership is free for all AMA members. To add Tech SIG to your membership profile, fill out this form to send your SIG selection to the AMA Customer Support team, and they will be able to add the SIG designation to your membership.
Submission Deadline:
All materials must be submitted in a single PDF file to Vamsi Kanuri (vkanuri@nd.edu) and Ju-Yeon Lee (leejy@iastate.edu) by November 15th, 2024.
